It's fragrance triggers off all sorts of lovely images from comforting cinnamon tea on a cold Winter's day to yummy apple pies on a summer afternoon in the garden,

Cinnamon always makes me think of Christmas too with it's spicy candles and Christmas pudding mix. But sadly, i have never had a cinnamon scroll. I feel I'm really missing out here :>)

My favourite spice is ginger- two of my favourites that my mum used to make are ginger biscuits and ginger sponge- so that smell always reminds me of my mum cooking!

Congratulations, Dawn ! Such a lovely new blog name ;>) I love cinnamon, too - really makes me think of Xmas - Yet my favourite spice of all is CURRY, (which actually is a mix of several spices). I love it in almost everything (except sweets, of course), it's spicy, exotic, yellow (my favourite color), and gives such an extra taste to any simple meal ! Add in some coconut milk and I'm in Heaven ;>)
Also it reminds me of my childhood in Africa - I guess childhood smells and tastes are in you forever...
BIG friendly (((HUG))) from Belgium, dear !

Hi Dawn! I just found your blog thanks to http://abyquilt.blogspot.com/
My favorite spice would have to be cinnamon too. It always makes me smile when I smell it, and I love having cinnamon candles around my house year long though most people think of this as a fall scent. Thank you so much for the giveaway!!

My favourite spice is cinnamon, for a couple of reasons. Wonderful smell, great in baking (cinnamon buns, Mmmmmmm!) and we had a lovely dog called Cinnamon.
Thanks for the fun giveaway--I've just found your great blog so it is good timing!
