"Red Club last Saturday"

Last weekend I had another 'Red Club" day
at the Patchwork Apple in Woodside.
That means Allie I am posting your little quilt
from the last 'Red Club' day to you this week.
Heather and I had a lovely day, relaxing, sewing, chatting
with the ladies in the class
but all I managed to complete
was some very very small hexagons....
red ones of course...

and one small hexi flower.....
I am hooked....
they are 3/4 inch and so tiny
as you can see in the picture next to a five cent piece.
The pattern is 'Ruby's Little Quilts' by Marg Lowe
and it is adorable......
I will be definitely be making more of these in the future.
Do you make hexagons?
Have a try! They are addictive though!

Happy Stitching.

Hugs Dawn x x x

WOW! They sure are tiny hexagons.

Yes I have made some to send over for the Biggest Hexagon Quilt. I did enjoy making them.

Oh Dawn how exciting! I'll be meeting the mailman in the mornings with a cup of coffee til he brings it, lol.
I LOVE your little hexagons! Wow are they tiny. The only thing that has stopped me from trying them is that you have to be precise - and that word is not exactly in my quilt vocabulary. Maybe I could cut some and applique them, lol. I adore your little flower!

Very pretty hexagon blocks!! Love the fabrics you are using. I've been working on hexes for a couple of different quilts. It does take awhile, maybe someday I'll get the quilts finished. Happy Stitching!!

I saw those hexagons at a quilt exhibition a couple of weekends ago, I couldn't get over how tiny they were, an excellent way of using up all those little scraps of fabric.

Your eyesight is obviously better than mine Dawn - they are very cute. I would like to try a hexagon quilt but better finish a few UFOs first!

Dawn,
I absolutely love those fabrics. What a wonderful event Red Club day must be. Red is such an uplifting colour especially in fabric. I feel a real urge to buy some pretty red fabrics and make some hexagons too :>) Not that I have ever made a hexagon in my life but there's always a first time..haha! I think I will have to start big though and work my way down :>)
How lovely for Allie to be getting her prize soon, no wonder she is overjoyed :>)
